Hi, I am Melissa! I have been a cosmetologist since 1991, working in Ankeny since 1995. I am married to a very supportive husband and 2 great kids that motivate me each day to be the best I can be.   I strive to exceed your expectations by delivering great service.  I provide many hair services, including haircuts for women, men and children as well as hair color, permanent waving, keratin treatments, special styles, updos  and facial waxing. Looking forward to offering additional services in the near future.  I enjoy doing the variety of it all.

I take pride in taking classes on current trends and new techniques, so that I can help my clients in making the change they may want, or to just keep each appointment exciting with trying a new technique perhaps.   I have taken classes from many great educators in Kansas City, Chicago, New York and London, etc...  I am passionate about the hair and beauty industry.  If I can be a part of building someone's confidence, by giving them a hairstyle that suits them or removing unwanted hair or even being a listening ear, that makes my day.  I want the light that shines within me to brighten someone else's day-THAT IS MY DAILY GOAL!
